A new platform for real-world connection

Connection is the product.

The Den creates places and experiences that make it easier for adults to meet, move, play, learn and genuinely connect—in real life.

Adults connecting, talking and dancing together in a welcoming community space
Designed for participation, not spectators.
The unmet need

Adults need better places to belong.

We have more ways to communicate than ever, but fewer easy, recurring ways to build meaningful relationships. Today's options are fragmented—and many are passive, transactional or built around a single activity.

01

Disconnection

Digital contact rarely replaces the energy and trust created face to face.

02

Isolation

Adult friendships take effort, coordination and a reason to gather.

03

Inactivity

Movement is often separated from social life instead of reinforcing it.

04

Fragmentation

Fitness, learning, play, food and community live in different places.

The Den model

One community. Many reasons to show up.

The Den combines thoughtfully curated programming with welcoming physical environments. People may arrive for an activity, but the lasting value is the connection created around it.

Prove the experience before building the space.

The Den begins with paid pop-ups in Southern Marin. Each event is both a compelling customer experience and a structured test of demand, format, pricing, repeat behavior and operating economics.

01 LAUNCHPaid pop-ups

Test curated experiences in partner venues.

02 LEARNRepeat demand

Measure attendance, referrals, return rates and willingness to pay.

03 BUILDCommunity + tech

Develop recurring programming and the booking and matching layer.

04 SCALEPhysical Dens

Create a repeatable neighborhood hub and operating model.

What we are validating

A disciplined path to product-market fit.

The initial beachhead is active adults, approximately 35 to 60, seeking richer social lives beyond work, restaurants, bars and traditional fitness classes.

2026 milestones

  • Launch the first paid pop-up
  • Test three to five experience formats
  • Complete customer interviews and validate pricing
  • Build a qualified community and email list
  • Identify repeatable programming and unit economics

Technology and scale

  • Connect people, providers, experiences and spaces
  • Match programming supply with local demand
  • Personalize discovery and recommendations
  • Use participation data to improve programming
  • Replicate winning formats across communities
The destination

A welcoming neighborhood hub where movement, food, learning, games, music and wellness create something more valuable: a genuine sense of belonging.
